I represent the Dine’ (Navajo) Nation & my community as an amateur athlete, mentor, motivational speaker, and community member. I reside in Northwest New Mexico, which allows me to race across the Southwest region, while not racing I am an active member of the community helping promote an active & positive lifestyle. In 2019 I competed in 25 races in three disciplines while my main focus is mountain biking; running, and triathlons are part of my activities I enjoy as a part of the community.
2020 my goals will focus on mountain biking, with my entry into Leadville 100 mtb race & USAC mtb XC nationals as my big races for the year. Racing mountain biking endurance races, triathlon, running events
will help me cross train and introduce me to new faces. My 2020 goals include a podium spot at New Mexico or Arizona state mtb championships, complete Leadville 100, and a top 10 at Nationals. I will participate in motivational events when asked, topics I covered in 2019; Suicide, mental health, bullying, and my journey to becoming healthy. I give insight on how I started in the sport when I was 205lbs, how cycling has changed my life, and help others with important topics troubling youth & adults on & off the Navajo Nation.
