I am a 52 year old father of 3. I used to do a lot of riding in my 20's but stopped when I had kids. 5 years ago my oldest son started riding with the local NICA team and I joined the team on rides. He fell in love with the sport and then joined a local development team, Reno Devo, to do some more serious racing. As his passion grew so did mine, I became a coach for both the NICA team and the development team, I started working with the City Parks Dept to get a jump park built in our town and I am the VP for our local youth development club that started last year to get more kids on bike and hopefully turn that into another youth race team. I really enjoy the marathon style of riding and racing where you are back country for 4-5 hours. I am planning on racing Sea Otter, Grand Junction Off Road, Carson City Off Road (hometown), the Death Ride in CA and then the Park City P2P. Next summer I am hoping to add in the BC bike race with my wife.
