I live in Illinois with my wife Kat and my 3-month old Emmeric. My family and I own and operate three retail supplement stores. I started cycling two years ago after my father passed away from heart disease. I just completed my first Gran Fondo (that I used Stages Link to train for!) in which I finished first place in the men's category. I have done several sportive events, scheduled but necessarily timed, for the Gold Star Mission. Two of these events were +200 miles in one day, the others being 500 mile events over the course of 4-5 days. I'm planning on competing in more Fondos and events.
