As a long term multi-time age group CA State XC and enduro champion, Sea Otter winner, as well as placing 6th Master Pro Men at the Northstar EWS last year, I have been racing and wining mountain bike races in Northern California for about 15 years. 2020 was a tough year, with no racing for me due to the pandemic and needing to prioritize work during these tough times. However, I have continued to train and intend to race next year at full steam ahead pace! After the top placing at EWS last year, I have my eye on a National Champion jersey along with more racing next year. I have coached and written training plans for the successful Salinas High School team and personally taken on coaching projects that have resulted in my #1 pupil becoming a world class EWS racer and riding for a team that you support :) I have been using Stages power meters for years in my training and currently have several 170mm crankarms on my XC and road bike. A recent bike fit and move to 165mm cranks on all of my machines hasn't quite resulted in catching up with new Stages equipment yet. However, this could be a great opportunity for me to continue using and recommending power. My social media presence could be stronger. I prefer to interact with people 1:1 and have a huge reputation from my racing success and diabolical training habits... :)
