I am a novice female cyclist who found road cycling at 38 years old and now 40. As a Master’s female athlete, I know my life story and experiences resonate with others. You are never too old to try something new, formulate new dreams and goals, and discover yourself. My approach to my cycling and anything I tackle in life is one that I am indomitable. I believe in authenticity and sharing my struggles and success with my followers on social media and with anyone I come into contact. Honesty and integrity are important tenets of how I lead and guide people and as someone who has battled weight gain and loss, 4 ACL reconstructions, and being a woman in a male-dominated sport (and misogynistic world, but I digress); I know people relate to my story--that’s what I want to be able to use my platform and relationships with brands like Stages to help me be the best athlete I can be while working directly with and inspiring women to ride and hopefully race their bikes!
