started training in 2017. To start, I just wanted to complete a marathon and be fit. Through support and encouragement, I started the path into endurance sports. I lost a lot of weight and was encouraged to train for Boston Marathon and eventually got to run multiple Boston Marathons. I started training for Ironman in 2018. and again like the marathon, I thought I would be one and done, but the encouragement, support, and suffering are too addicting in a good way. Having done 4 Ironman races and many marathons, I have been giving back to the community by helping others in the sports, motivating and supporting them, volunteering at events, and serving as Vice President on the board of Houston Racing Triathlon Club, and as a lead member of the Pearland Triathlon Racing Club.
