Hello hello! I, like many, am a former competitive swimmer - turned triathlete - turned cyclist... and now I float between road cycling and triathlon as my primary race pursuits. I'm extremely active in my regional community- I am VP of Madison's largest cycling club Brazen Dropouts where I perform race directing duties and help onboard new cyclists. I also helped co-found Femme40 Racing as Madison's first and only womxn's bike racing team (we are 50-strong right now and race every discipline) where I race and mentor the road team. What's most important to me between these two groups is to help mend the exclusion that a lot of womxn have felt from the road cycling culture. This involves a lot of purposeful conversation with both groups, as well as skill clinics to help womxn feel empowered on the road, and investing in social connections that truly do make all the difference.
